Raizes do Brasil Capoeira Madison is available to book for performances. We've done demos in school gyms, at cultural fairs, and community events. Typical performances always include a demonstration of a capoeira roda with music (singing and traditional instruments) and audience participation. We can also include a mini-workshop covering common kicks, dodges, and acrobatics; an extra focus on the history and culture of capoeira; a mock combat stick dance called Maculelê ; or a focus on the songs and instruments.
